Description |
Brown glass bottle, 3 1/4" tall and rectangular shape (1" x 3/8") White Tablets remaining in interior. A large portion of a label (yellow with black lettering except for the word Anacin which is white) still exists on the front panel. The following is visible: "50 table..., Anacin, F...., Pain Relief, Headaches, Neur..., Acetophen..., Aspirin, Caffeine, ...Atories, Inc., ...Y" The bottle exhibits a metal scre-onlid. WHITEHALL is embossed with an "I" in an oval with the number: 9 8 2. The trademark is Ownes Illinois Company Glass Co of Toledo, OH. Ownes-Illinois changed to a new variation of its manufacturers mark during the mid-1950s. The new mark was identical to the old one except that the elongated diamond was eilimated leaving only an "I" in an oval. |
