Description |
White silk cloth with black painted characters, or Kanji, on it. There are five black kanji that are written vertically with an orange kanji beneath. There are then two larger kanji that is said to translate to "Pure Love". There is also a red painted stamp on the opposite side. Previous Description: A full page from 1957 Denver Post Newspaper Wednesday February 13th rolled around a piece of white silk cloth. The silk cloth exhibits tow large blac painted Japanese characters translated to mean pure love and smaller black and orange panited characters and artist signature of "han". The silk manufacturer name Skinnner was stamped on selvedge |

Condition Notes |
Textile went to textile conservator who was meant to remove stains - mold staining will most likely fade but not completly; and to be mounted for display. Returned sometime in 2017. As of 2021 slight yellowing and water marks or stains noticable. |
